Tips for submitting your proposal

Submitting a project proposal within the framework of Horizon Europe can be a challenge. For success, thorough planning as well as a functioning cooperation among the collaborating partners are necessary. The European Research Executive Agency (EREA) of the European Commission has published a list of tips that should be followed or avoided when submitting an application. It deals with different phases / topics: the preparation of the proposal, the actual submission of the proposal and, separately, the topic of "impact".

The guidelines are published on the EREA website.

In this series of webinars, the National Contact Point Bioeconomy and Environment (NKS B&U) provided information on the application process in Cluster 6 and the missions within the framework of Horizon Europe.

In individual webinars, the application chapters Excellence, Implementation and Impact were presented and information was provided on reviewer critiques, budget planning and societal (social science and humanities) aspects.

The following link will take you to the webinar series as well as the recordings and presentation slides of the individual webinars: National Contact Point Bioeconomy and Environment.

The National Contact Points provide a helpful tool for applicants in the form of annotated application templates. The comments simply provide you with tips, recommendations and additions. For the exact requirements of the European Commission, please refer to the respective templates for the individual topics in the Funding & Tenders Portal.
