Public consultations give all citizens (including businesses and non-governmental organisations) the opportunity to share their views on new EU initiatives and existing policies at key stages of the legislative process. The Commission has set up the online portal Have your say for this purpose.

The aim is to improve the quality of EU policy-making through the input of all relevant stakeholders and thus ensure that initiatives respond adequately to current challenges, such as the environmental and digital changes.

For an overview of all currently open consultations from the European Commission, please visit the Consultations website.
